A Kiwi calling Scotland home since 2022 and counting.
My interest in photography started as teenager. However, it wasn't until many years later I decided to something about it. A holiday to South America was the catalyst for me to purchase a basic DSLR and from there the desire to pursue photography as a career was ignited. My photography style ranges from photojournalist to abstract.
I am passionate about many forms of photography, including wildlife and landscape photography. I love to travel and explore exotic places. In 2018, I fell in love with Peru, particularly the Amazon rainforest, which I have explored three times.
Since arriving in the Scotland I have travelled widely around the country and still have many places to explore. The islands around Scotland are on my bucket list to visit. My favourite places so far have been Campbelltown with its rich whisky heritage and, Aviemore and the Cairngorms for it stunning scenery. Oh, and Glencoe, just incredible.
When I am not travelling I like to run with my dog and completed the Edinburgh Half Marathon this year. Also, am a bit of a baker but unfortunately or fortunately I can’t eat it because of my food intolerances. Those around me are blessed with a few extra calories. In winter I love to head away to go skiing with friends.
Why Pets you ask? Pets are part of my family and growing up in rural New Zealand farm animals and racehorses were an everyday occurrence. I have many memories as a toddler with a filly my dad bought home. My brother and I would be found fast asleep in the paddock with her.
My boy is a Dutch Herder called Rip, he is two and a half strapping young dog. Loves to run and be clapped (for those who are not Scottish that means patted). He definitely keeps me on my toes and extremely active.
Combining my love for animals and passion for photography is the perfect mix for me.
Allow me the privilege of being your photographer capturing the special and unique bond you and your pet share.
